Snail mail

I found this cute acrylic stamp set at a LSS on one of our runs to town during the retreat. It included the snail image, the saying and another saying of "Happy Birthday" He made me smile so I thought I would bring him home.I stamped the snail and greeting in black. Then I stamped the snail shell again with black on a piece of scrap paper I had. I cut the snail shell out and glued it over the original snail on white to give him a colorful shell. I colored in the head of the snail using my creamy caramel ink pad and and aqua painter. Outlined the snail with a gray marker. Added a little detail in the corners and wala...a quick belated birthday card.

This card measures 6"x3" and will fit perfect into a standard size envelope.
